situated just 5 minutes by car from Continental and Isle
of Wight. Ferry-ports, Historic Ships/Museums, University,
City Centres, Train /Coach Stations and all the Tourist
Attractions/Museums that Portsmouth and its Seaside Resort
of Southsea has to offer. Bright modern rooms all have
colour TVs, clock, hair-dryers, cooler fans and generous
tea/coffee facilities. Full English, Vegetarian and Continental
Breakfast served in lovely Spanish style Dining room from
8.30am Continental Breakfast can be served for early Ferry
Travellers from 6.00am.There is a vast selection of restaurants
just 5 minutes walk from the house for Evening Dinner.
Buses run to all parts of the city from nearby. Ideal

modern city of Portsmouth is unique in the country on
being situated largely on an island. There are many
lovely shopping centres in Portsmouth and Southsea,
wonderful museums and quaint streets to explore. The
ancient city of Old Portsmouth was where the Press gangs
found their latest recruitsand prostitutes , thieves
and vagabonds roamed the narrow cobbled streets. Now
a pleasant area to stroll or just sit on the sea-front
and watch the ever changing panorama of ships, passing
by on their way to Isle of Wight, France, Spain or even
further. Many Monarchs, Authors and Architects have
contributed to Portsmouth's history making it a very
interesting place to visit. |
