The Barn Cafe Scorton

This cafe The Barn Cafe Scorton has become bigger and better over the years that I have been visiting. It’s always been an amazing place for lunch. It has expanded over the years and has built several new places with a cafe, gift shop, and garden centre selling plants. At the centre of everything is the coffee bar, situated in the old shippon. They serve a variety of Artisan coffees, specialist teas, milkshakes and smoothies. The Barn Cafe Scortonat Scorton has a large selection of home-baked cakes, as well as some favourites from Latham’s Bakery. If you are looking for something more substantial they have an extensive lunch menu and specials menu available daily, giving you plenty of choice to get exactly what you fancy!

The seating is limited within the coffee bar, so be sure to get there early. The gallery upstairs makes for a snug little hideaway, providing the perfect place to kick back and relax!

If you are looking to have a light lunch, their menu contains plenty of options to cater for this. Some choices are filled baguettes, homemade soup, baked potatoes and toasted teacakes. The menu also contains more filling options like beef/chicken burgers, the club sandwich, fish and chips, pie of the day, and much more!

Why not try one of their locally famous homemade scones, freshly baked with whipped cream and strawberry jam, or even one of our sinfully gorgeous Walling’s ice cream sundaes?

After indulging yourself, why not walk it off with a stroll around their gardens and browse in their extraordinary planters

Restaurant at The Barn at Scorton

Their restaurant seats up to one hundred guests in a comfortable rustic setting. The Barn has even more space outside in the beautiful garden dining area. The fully licensed bar boasts a fine selection of beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, hot drinks, milkshakes and smoothies.

They have a huge range of dishes to whet your appetite and tickle your taste buds, from our hearty sandwiches and jacket potatoes to their more filling grill menu. Not to forget the home-made chips which are to die for. In addition to their menu, be sure you check out the daily specials, which are full of the old favourites and exotic delicacies. If you are not tempted by any of the above, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with the big selection of cakes, scones and ice cream sundaes!

If you are looking to book a table at the restaurant please note that their reservations are only bookable for parties of 10 or more. Unless you are booking for Afternoon Tea. Have any queries regarding bookings please feel free to contact them!
