For years, we have frequented Art in Clay shows, acquiring cherished pieces crafted by renowned artists such as Sarah Cox, Mark Smith, and Tony Laverick.
This show’s appeal is not just limited to our personal experiences. Each year, it spotlights some of the finest ceramics produced by individual makers in the UK and Europe. These artists skillfully create masterpieces, each a testament to their creativity and dedication.
A New Chapter
This year, we find ourselves embarking on a new chapter as Art in Clay Windsor presents itself as a novel experience. The transition to this event accompanies a shift to a completely new venue, marking a significant change from our familiar haunts like Art in Clay Hatfield and Art in Clay Farnham. This event is on the 20th, 21st, and 22nd of August 2021. It provides a unique opportunity, perfectly timed for the summer season, to acquire beautiful and distinctive pieces.
During this event, exhibitors from various backgrounds will showcase their work, including newly qualified and emerging ceramic artists alongside established makers with decades of creative experience. This diverse range of talent offers attendees the opportunity to explore and acquire pieces that capture the essence of contemporary ceramic art.
As this new event unfolds, we eagerly anticipate the chance to discover and appreciate the craftsmanship of these talented artists. Set in a tranquil riverside setting beneath the gaze of Windsor Castle, we eagerly look forward to immersing ourselves in the world of ceramics, celebrating the passion and skill of these gifted makers.

Art in Clay Windsor is an outdoor summer event held at the Royal Windsor Racecourse which is set on the River Thames and in the shadow of Windsor Castle. A large event of over 200 exhibitors, including a full programme of talks & demonstrations and a Clay Creation Zone to fire your imagination.

Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us to cancel our 2020 show. Nevertheless, we deeply appreciate the overwhelming support from all of you who rallied behind our exhibitors when we transitioned the show online. Your support significantly contributed to generating much-needed income for our artists, a gesture that did not go unnoticed.
Despite the uncertainties brought about by COVID-19, optimism fills us as we approach this year’s show, scheduled for the end of August. Our confidence comes from the diligent work happening behind the scenes. We have been tirelessly preparing to ensure that the show will proceed as planned.
An exciting change awaits us in 2021. After 25 remarkable years, Art in Clay will find its new home at the prestigious Royal Windsor Racecourse. We made this decision after carefully considering various factors, signifying a positive step forward. We sincerely hope that you share our enthusiasm for this change, and we eagerly anticipate your presence at Art in Clay Windsor 2021. Your continued support is invaluable, and we look forward to welcoming you to this new chapter of our exhibition.

Tickets are only available to be purchased online or on the day of the event. Tickets are valid for the day purchased only unless you have purchased a 2 or 3-day ticket.
