Fecamp France, a campervan Holiday, A road trip through France in a Campervan. Visiting Fecamp, Yport, Étretat and the area of Côte d’Albâtre. Then it’s off to a few other areas of France.

Day one, This is a recall of a holiday in France. A Road Trip that we took a while ago (last year). I have finally got around to writing about our campervan holiday in France. After departing the DFDS Ferry that took us from Newhaven to Dieppe. We travelled South West along the coast to Fécamp. We had pre-booked a stay at this campsite Camping Bel Air Village de Reneville, Chem. de Nesmonds, 76400 Fécamp. Booked in here for 3 nights paying €70.00 (not the cheapest of our chosen campsites in France). We wanted to visit Fécamp, Yport, Étretat and the area of the Côte d’Albâtre. The Côte d’Albâtre is part of the French coast of the English Channel. Corresponding to the coastline of Pays de Caux and forming almost all of the coastline of Seine-Maritime. Since 2009 it has been classified as a Natura 2000 site.

Fecamp France Camping
Phare de Fecamp

100 meters from the beach with a view of an incomparable panorama. It was our first ever stay in a campervan at a French campsite. The Sea views were amazing, the site itself was a little hard to find and it was high up some side streets. I think we only got lost twice. We could see the camp but not access it. After a few days, we found a back road that was easier for us to use.

They had a problem with the swimming pool (not built yet ?) and a few of the shower rooms are a bit dated. The welcome and location was good. There was nowhere else around this location near Fecamp. If you have a self-catering Van, toilet and shower you can find a site in the middle of Fecamp. [AirePark] Aire de services et stationnement camping car de Fecamp.
