Pottery and Ceramic Shows 2023 is a list of upcoming events showcasing ceramic and pottery makers from across the globe. 2023 brings about a host of ceramic and pottery shows scattered all over the United Kingdom. Many of the artists and potters’ work featured on this site represent work we have collected from previous shows. York Ceramics Fair 4th – 5th March 2023
After a short break, York Ceramics Fair returns to a new space bigger and better. The event is selected by and run by the makers, and our aim is to provide an unpretentious and affordable platform that nonetheless showcases only the finest makers working in clay today. No commission is taken on sales, and this is a chance to buy directly from the maker and support the sector.

Ceramic Wales 2023 17th and 18th of June 2023
In collaboration with Bodrhyddan Hall “Pots, Plants and Food”
Ceramic Wales was founded in 2015 by a group of potters based in and around North Wales. They had a vision of creating a quality ceramic event to promote potters from across the UK, and the rest of the world. The first show took place in 2016 at Wrexham Glyndwr University, followed by three more annual events located within the area. Ceramic Wales was re-launched in 2022, at a new location. Only a short drive along the coast to the beautiful Bodrhyddan Hall in Denbighshire. They look forward to welcoming visitors and makers on the 17th and 18th of June 2023 for the second time.

Silverdale and Arnside Art and Craft Trail 23rd and the 25th of June 2023
Last year saw over 60 exhibitors share their work from a range of disciplines from jewellery, glass, painting and printing to metalwork, textiles, clay and wood. We were also blown away to be shortlisted as Best Art Venue for the Cumbria Life Readers’ Choice Awards.

International Ceramics Festival Friday 30th June until Sunday 2nd July 2023
The ICF is Europe’s premier ceramics festival. It is held at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on the campus of Aberystwyth University on the mid-Wales coast. Since it began in 1987, the three-day festival has grown to become the UK’s leading ceramics event. The event attracts internationally known potters and ceramicists from Wales, the UK and around the world.

Holmfirth Artweek Sunday 2nd Sunday 8th July 2023
One of the UK’s Largest Open Art Exhibitions, Featuring over 400 exhibitors and over 2,000 artworks, plus dozens of fringe venues across the local area with thousands more works of art and craft. Holmfirth Artweek is a local event with a national reputation. The majority of the exhibitors are from this area. Large numbers of visitors come from all over the country to view and to buy Art.

Potfest In The Park 28th 29th and 30th July 2023
This is a great show, held outside on the grounds of a Castle. Over 100 exhibitors invited from across Europe and beyond. All with very distinctive, individual styles. Set in the backdrop of Hutton-in-the Forest on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park. We have visited about 6 times over the years. Purchasing a few pieces of pottery along the way

Art in Clay Windsor 18th, 19th and 20th August 2023
Art in Clay Windsor. A large event of over 200 exhibitors, including a full programme of talks & demonstrations and a Clay Creation Zone to fire your imagination.
Art in Clay showcases some of the finest ceramics currently being made by individual makers in the UK and Europe.
A large event, set in marquees in the grounds of Royal Windsor Racecourse, with over 200 ceramic exhibitors, an Education Area with programmed talks & demonstrations, and a Clay Creation Zone to fire your imagination.

Art in the Pen Skipton 19th and 20th August 2023
The continued success of Art in the Pen is partly down to its relaxed and friendly environment. The events are a great way for visitors to strike up a conversation with our artists. Meet other art and craft enthusiasts. Whether you’re a collector or buying for the first time. Art in the Pen provides a wonderful opportunity to discover new, emerging and established talent. Art in Clay Farnham 18th and 19th November 2023
The show offers a fantastic variety of work, all made in clay. From animal sculptures to pots designed for domestic use, with a vast range in between to interest anyone who appreciates ceramics. Held in the Farnham Maltings, Art in Clay Farnham offers a weekend of talks and demonstrations, as well as the opportunity to purchase works directly from the makers.
