York Ceramics Fair 4th – 5th March 2023
York Ceramics Fair after a short break returns to a new space bigger and better. Makers select and organise the event. Our goal is to offer an unpretentious and affordable platform that highlights the finest makers in clay today. We don’t charge any commission on sales, providing a unique opportunity to buy directly from the maker and support the sector.
The Craft Potters Association
The Craft Potters Association of Great Britain (CPA) operates as an artist-led organisation owned and managed by its members. Established in 1958, its purpose is to advance and encourage the creation of fine ceramics, fostering public interest in such objects and promoting their societal value. Initially founded as a Friendly Society by a small group of potters, CPA now boasts over 1,800 members, ranging from internationally recognised makers to emerging talents in the field.

We also run theContemporary Ceramicsgallery right across from the British Museum in central London displaying work by our members as well as regular group and solo exhibitions in the Emmanuel Cooper Gallery, and run two other ceramics fairs in Oxford and York.

Tickets are available online for each day via Eventbrite and cover all areas of the event. Tickets will also be available on the door if capacity permits. To avoid disappointment we strongly advise booking your tickets in advance.
CPA Membersqualify for discounted tickets. Please select that option on checkout and show evidence of your membership on admittance to the event.
Registered disabledvisitors may bring a carer free of charge. No ticket is required for them but you may be asked to produce evidence of your status on admittance.
